Man Critically Injured In Pittsburgh-Area Hit-And-Run
A pedestrian crossing a street was hurt in the Wednesday night incident.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department's Collision Reconstruction and Homicide Unit is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred Wednesday night in North Versailles.
At 8:42 p.m. this date, county 911 was notified of a vehicle striking a pedestrian in the intersection of Greensburg Pike and Hyer Ave. First responders found an injured man who was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Preliminary information shows a dark colored SUV struck the victim and fled the area. Detectives are working to identify the vehicle involved.
