Man Killed, Woman Wounded In Pittsburgh-Area Shooting

DUQUESNE, PA — Allegheny County police are investigating a shooting early Monday that left a man dead and a woman wounded.

Shortly after 5 a.m., county 911 was notified of a shooting in the 100 block of Commonwealth Avenue. First responders found the man and the woman inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to an area hospital, where she was reported in critical condition.

The name of the man killed was not immediately released.
