Man Wounded In Early Morning Pittsburgh Shooting
A suspect is in custody after a man was shot on the South Side early Sunday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man is in custody after a shooting on the South Side early Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., police officers assigned to the South Side Entertainment District heard several gunshots fired at the intersection of East Carson Street and South 18th Street. A man driving a vehicle had been shot by a man standing on the street.
Officers rendered aid to the man, who was wounded in the buttock. He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was detained at the scene. Joseph V. Brown, 20, of Clairton, was charged with aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license and recklessly endangering another person. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail.
