NFL Legend, Pittsburgh Radio Icons To Open New Eatery
A former NFL star and a pair of Pittsburgh radio veterans will open a new restaurant soon.
PITTSBURGH, PA — After launching a food truck last year, a trio of well-known Pittsburghers plan to open a full-fledged restaurant together in the area this summer.
Pittsburgh native Dan Marino was a star for the Miami Dolphins and is an NFL Hall of Fame member. Larry Richert hosts the KDKA-AM morning show. Comedian Jim Krenn is best known for being the former morning host for years at WDVE-FM.
Together, the three will open a Yinzer Dogs eatery in a few months. The announcement came in a recent Facebook post.

"Hey yinz guys We have a HUGE announcement to make!!! We’ve been keeping a secret," the post stated.
"Our brick and mortar is coming to Cranberry. And our man Dan Marino will be coming to celebrate our grand opening with us!! Keep your schedule clear for the Grand Opening Date this isn’t something you’ll want to miss!!!"

The eatery will open in the Cranberry Springs Plaza in August, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Yinzer Dogs launched last year. Another location is planned for the Strip District.
