Pisciottano Bests Dintini In PA 45th Senate District Race

Here are the latest election results in the 45th Senate District race between Nick Pisciottano and Jen Dintini.

UPDATED, 8:15 a.m.

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA —Nick Pisciottano defeated Jen Dintini Tuesday to capture the 45th Senatorial District seat. With 99.65 percent of precincts reporting, Pisciottano had 67,939 votes to Dintini's 60,414.

All results are unofficial until verified by the Allegheny County Elections Board.

Pisciottano, of West Mifflin, is a Democratic state representative who has served in the House since 2021. He is squaring off against Dintini, a Plum Republican and the owner of security companies Am-Gard Inc. and 3G Security Solutions.

The pair were running to succeed Democratic Sen. Jim Brewster of McKeesport, who is retiring after serving in the Senate since 2010.
