PITTSBURGH, PA — The taste of Sarris Candies' iconic peanut butter meltways is now available in liquid form.

The Canonsburg-based confectionery company has teamed up with Pittsburgh's Penn Brewery to produce a Peanut Butter Meltaway Chocolate Stout, a beer that Sarris says in a Facebook combines the meltaway taste "with the bold complexity of a full-bodies stout. Ideal for pairing with desserts or sipping on its own, it's a decadent brew for both beer and chocolate lovers alike."

The beer will be introduced Thursday at the Sarris Canonsburg store at an event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Six packs will be available for purchase during or after the event. It also will be available on tap or in cans at Penn Brewery.
