Pittsburgh-Area School Bus Driver Dies Following Crash
Injuries a school bus driver suffered in the crash proved fatal.

BUTLER COUNTY, PA — The driver of a school bus involved in an accident that sent eight students to the hospital last week has died.
The Mars Area School District and bus company A.J. Meyers & Sons on Thursday announced the death of William "Bob" Miller. On March 6, the bus Miller was driving hit a tree on Three Degree Road in Adams Township.
"Bob was not only a dedicated and hardworking member of our community, but also someone who brightened the days of many with a kind word, a warm smile, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of those he served," a message on the district website stated.

"For 10 years, Bob played an essential role in our daily lives, getting students to their destinations safely. He was much more than just a bus driver; he was a friend, a familiar face, and a trusted presence on the road. His passing is a loss that will be felt deeply by all who knew him.
"We ask that you keep Bob’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. The grief we feel as a community is immeasurable, and our hearts go out to all who have been impacted by this loss."
