A Pittsburgh-based burger chain has received national accolades.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh-based restaurant chain has Pennsylvania's best burger, according to a national website.
Lovefood.com has published its list of the best burgers in every state based on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades and the firsthand experience of the website's team. In Pennsylvania, Lovefood.com believes the best burger bite in Pennsylvania can be had at Burgatory.
"With locations in and around Pittsburgh, Burgatory is well-loved for its custom burgers," the review stated.

"Diners can pick a patty (with options including beef, chicken, bison, wild crab, and a vegan option) and a bun (brioche, pretzel, potato, or lettuce wrap), then select from different rubs, cheeses, sauces, and toppings."
"For those who prefer to stick to the menu, the Piggy Butter & Jelly comes recommended. the house French fries are delicious, but for something rather more indulgent, the truffle oil and Gorgonzola–topped option is pretty incredible."

Burgatory burgers can be sampled at their locations at the Waterworks near Aspinwall, The Pointe at North Fayette, The Waterfront, Murrysville, the North Shore, McCandless Crossing and Cranberry. Their offerings also are available at PPG Paints Arena and Heinz Field.
