Pittsburgh International Airport Welcomes New Eatery
Travelers have a new dining option at Pittsburgh International Airport's Airside Terminal. Get the details here.
FINDLAY TOWNSHIP, PA — The revamping of Pittsburgh International Airport dining options continued Thursday with the grand opening of Sambazon, an acai and smoothie shop. Sambazon is a recognized leader in organic and fair trade certified acai.
Airport officials said that Sambazon brings travelers a fresh, healthier dining option, reinforcing the airport’s commitment to offering more nutritious and diverse meal choices. The addition reflects the airport's ongoing efforts to cater to the growing demand for better-for-you food options while enhancing the traveler experience.
Sambazon's front counter typically displays an abundance of fresh fruit toppings — strawberries, banana, blueberries, mango, and pineapple — in addition to nutrient-dense nuts and seeds, and açaí bowl staples such as granola & coconut.
