Pittsburgh Retail-Restaurant Complex To Hold Inaugural Holiday Event

PITTSBURGH, PA — SouthSide Works will welcome in the Christmas season with its initial Holiday Glow event on Friday. The all-ages festival, which will occur from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., will feature Santa’s arrival, the lighting of the tree in the complex's SouthSide Works’ Town Square and a variety of activities and seasonal fun.

Holiday Glow at SouthSide Works will feature an outdoor holiday pop-up bar by The Speckled Egg, called The Nest, featuring a selection of hot cocktails and mocktails for sale plus complimentary hot cocoa for children.

Santa will be available throughout the event for all guests (and their furry dog-friends) to meet-and-greet and take home printed and digital photos in the Santa Photo Booth. Traditional carolers will be singing festive selections and DJ Wade will be spinning holiday hits to get the party started.

PGH Party Creations will be hosting seasonal crafts for children and a caricature artist will offer up funny holiday portraits for guests. Vvendor Tinked will have permanent jewelry for sale. Guests will also receive free light-up wands to usher in the season and fill Town Square with light as the tree shines for the first time at SouthSide Works this holiday season.
