Pittsburgh Teen Dies After Being Shot In Face By Brother: Police
A Pittsburgh teen died at the hospital after being shot by his brother, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A 14-year-old Larimer teen who was shot in the face by his brother has died, Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said Thursday.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the 6200 block of East Liberty Boulevard at about 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 for reports of a shooting. Officers found the victim inside the home with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in grave condition.
The victim's older brother, Jordan Mosely, 16, told police he and the victim were playing with loaded guns. As they did, Mosely pulled the trigger once but the gun did not fire. He pulled the trigger again, striking the victim in the face, according to the criminal complaint.

Mosley was charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a firearm by a minor. He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
Authorities did not indicate on Thursday morning what additional charges are forthcoming, saying only that the investigation is ongoing.

Mosley's preliminary hearing on the initial charges is scheduled for Friday. It is unclear whether that hearing will still occur.
