Pittsburgh TV Station Bolsters News Staff

A Pittsburgh TV station has added to its news reporting staff.

PITTSBURGH, PA — There's a new addition to the KDKA-TV news staff. Jessica Riley has been hired by the station as a reporter.

Riley announced the hire last week on her Facebook page.

"I’m super excited to finally share that I’ve joined the team at KDKA as a reporter," she said.

"Keeping this a secret has been tough…. but I’m so excited to work alongside some amazing people that I look up to.This opportunity means so much to me, and I can’t wait to get out there and start covering stories in my newfound community."

Riley comes to KDKA from WTOV-TV in Youngstown, where she worked for two-and-a-half years before leaving the station in December.

The Youngstown native has a degree in journalism from West Virginia University.
