PITTSBURGH, PA — Sports bars are aplenty in Pittsburgh, but one is opening next month with a unique concept: it will exclusively air women's sports programming on its eight TVs.

Title 9 will be located on Centre Avenue in East Liberty next to the popular Square Cafe. The women's sports watch concept is the brainchild of Square Cafe owner Sherree Goldstein and a group of her friends.

“I am passionate about women’s sports and it’s been so amazing over the past few years to see these incredible athletes finally getting the viewership they deserve," Goldstein said.

"We want to do what we can to grow here in our hometown and also support and connect with our collegiate and professional players in Pittsburgh. The goal is to make this not only a place to watch women’s sports but to convene and grow the community."

Goldstein said the the Title 9 menu will consist of snacks and handhelds with vegan and vegetarian options as well. Some Square Cafe favorites, such as tots, wraps and veggie burgers, also will be available.
