PITTSBURGH, PA — Michael's Pizza Bar, a staple on the South Side's Sarah Street for four decades, is closing its doors at the end of the month.

The pizzeria announced the closure nonchalantly on social media Thursday.

"It's slice day and the sun is shining!! Drop by for a $1 plain slice (with a pop purchase) and enjoy the sunshine," a Facebook post stated.
