Steelers Bringing Back QB Mason Rudolph
The Steelers have once again begun to remake their quarterback room.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers reportedly finally have a quarterback under contract, but he is not expected to be the team's starter in 2025.
The Steelers are bringing back Mason Rudolph on a two-year, $8 million deal of which $4.5 million is guaranteed, per the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Rudolph is returning to the Steelers after playing with them from 2018-23. He spent last season with the Tennessee Titans, who reportedly made him an offer to stay with them.

As for who will be the starter next season, the Steelers are still waiting for Aaron Rodgers, most recently with the New York Jets, to decide whether to accept their contract offer. The four-time MVP has other suitors, including the New York Giants and reportedly the Minnesota Vikings.
Justin Fields, who started six games for the Steelers last season, signed a two-year contract with the Jets this week. Russell Wilson, who started the rest of the games, is a free agent. He reportedly is meeting Thursday with the Cleveland Browns and Friday with the Giants.
