Steelers Player Gets Engaged To Pop Superstar Normani

PITTSBURGH, PA — It was a big week for DK Metcalfe. He got traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Steelers and also announced his engagement to pop superstar Normani at his introductory press conference with his new team.

The Steelers' new wide receiver proposed to Normani the week he was traded to the Steelers as former Pittsburgh quarterback and current free agent Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, introduced the two in 2020. Wilson at Metcalf were teammates at the time in Seattle.

Normani became well-known after auditioning for “The X Factor” in 2012 and joining the girl group Fifth Harmony. After that group split up, Normani found success as a solo artist with singles such as
"Motivation” and “Wild Side.” She also competed on “Dancing With the Stars.”
