Well-Known PA Company Among Trump 'Big Beautiful Ballroom' Donors
A familiar PA company reportedly is contributing millions to President Donald Trump's White House ballroom project.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — With plans for an opulent $300 million White House ballroom already having resulted in the building's east wing being entirely demolished to make room for it, a question has arisen: who is paying for the 90,000-square foot addition to this historic structure?
President Donald Trump has said no taxpayer money will be involved, and the White House has released a list of donors that includes a Pennsylvania-based company: telecommunications conglomerate Comcast, which is headquartered in Philadelphia.
While the specific amounts of each donor's contributions to the project were not revealed, a source told the New York Post that Comcast is giving between $5 million and $10 million.

The donation could be perceived as an attempt to curry favor with the president, who has been a vociferous critic of Comcast chairman Brian Roberts and the NBC and MSNBC networks that the company owns.
In an April post on his Truth social media site, Trump wrote: "Wow! Fake News MSNBC has REALLY BAD RATINGS, in fact, not much better than the broken broadcasting disaster known as CNN. Comcast, which also has the ailing network known as NBC ... and it’s Chairman, Brian Roberts, are a disgrace to the integrity of Broadcasting!!!"

In August, Trump stated this about NBC and ABC, which Comcast does not own: "ABC & NBC FAKE NEWS, two of the worst and most biased networks in history, give me 97% BAD STORIES. IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEY ARE SIMPLY AN ARM OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND SHOULD, ACCORDING TO MANY, HAVE THEIR LICENSES REVOKED BY THE FCC. I would be totally in favor of that because they are so biased and untruthful, an actual threat to our Democracy!!!"
Comcast also owns NBCUniversal, which includes film studios such as Universal Pictures and DreamWorks, cable channels such as CNBC and Bravo and the streaming platform Peacock.
Comcast reportedly is interested in a possible acquisition of Warner Brothers Discovery, whose assets include the DC Universe, HBO and Warner Bros. studios, as well as TV networks such as CNN, the Discovery Channel, HGTV, TNT and TBS. Warner Brothers Discovery also owns streaming platforms such as HBO Max and Discovery+ and multiple theme parks.
Such a major acquisition would draw considerable and detailed federal regulatory review.
Among the other ballroom donors are cryprto currency figures such as Among the crypto-linked contributors are Gemini co-founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Paxos co-founder Charles Cascarilla, Ripple Labs, Coinbase, and Tether America.
Other donors include Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, and Google, along with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s family and several billionaires
