Woman Dies After Being Shot, Crashing Car In Pittsburgh Neighborhood
A shooting victim was driving a vehicle when it crashed in Pittsburgh Thursday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A woman who had been shot and found in a crashed vehicle in Pittsburgh's Sheraden section Thursday morning died later in the hospital.
Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said officers responded to reports of a woman shot inside an apartment in the 3100 block of Kelvin Street at around 8:30 a.m.
While en route, first responders spotted a vehicle that had crashed into a pole a short distance away on Chartiers Avenue at Sutherland Street. Police discovered a woman who was shot inside the car.

Firefighters administered CPR before medics arrived. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. She later died.
The victim's name has not been released.
