Rick Santorum Calls It Quits

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum just announced that he is suspending his campaign.

The former U.S. senator was expected to make the announcement at an event in Gettysburg, but just made the announcement on CNN.

According to Huffington Post, the combination of his daughter's sickness and recent poll numbers showing him possibly losing his home state apparently prompted the early departure.
