An Italian Festival, a Recycling Event and PC Meetings, This Week

New2U KidStuff will hold a consignment sale on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Barren Hill Fire Co. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will include new and gently used boutique, designer and brand-name children’s clothing and toys. Conshohocken Borough will hold an “Anything with a Plug” recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 720 Fayette St., Conshohocken. Unwanted electronics will be accepted for free, though there will be a $20 fee to accept TVs and CRT monitors. The Conshohocken Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at borough hall.

Whitemarsh Township will hold its planning commission meeting Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the township building. According to the agenda, the commission will discuss the proposed multi-family development split between Conshohocken and Whitemarsh — in the 400 block of Washington Street.
