Clara E. Kolb, 103 of Lafayette Hill

Clara E. Kolb, of Lafayette Hill, formerly of the Burholme section of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Oct. 22 in the Spring Meadow Nursing Center in Lansdale. She was 103. 

Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann J. and Pauline C. Jung Schlotz. She was the widow of Rudolf Kolb, who died in 1977.

Kolb was a member of the Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill and often would volunteer at many of the churches functions. 
While living in Philadelphia prior to moving to Lafayette Hill, she was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church and enjoyed attending their women’s group activities.

Kolb is survived by a daughter, Elsie Friedgen of Lafayette Hill; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Kolb.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Messiah United Methodist Church, 527 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Interment will be private at the Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge.
