A Delco Man Was Sentenced For Promoting Prostitution At A Plymouth Township Hotel
Cornell Jamar Scott-Milbourne, 26, of Delaware County, was sentenced to time served plus probation for promoting prostitution at a hotel.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — A Delaware County man has been sentenced in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court in connection with his pleading guilty to charges involving running a prostitution operation out of a Plymouth Meeting hotel.
Cornell Jamar Scott-Milbourne, 26, of Ridley Township, Delaware County, received a sentence late last week of 10 months and 23 days already served to 23 months in jail, plus two years' probation, following a proceeding before Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas Rogers, according to a story in the Mercury newspaper.
The sentencing came after Scott-Milbourne pleaded guilty to charges of promoting prostitution and living off of the service of prostitutes.

An updated court docket sheet was not available as of the publication of this story, but the Mercury report said the defendant pleaded guilty this past Friday to some of the charges against him before he was set to go on trial.
Scott-Milbourne had been sitting in jail awaiting court action on the charges since his arrest back in May 2021.

At that time, Montgomery County prosecutors announced that Scott-Milbourne was arrested for allegedly forcing women to engage in sexual acts for his financial gain.
Investigators had been tipped off to possible prostitution activity taking place at the Hampton Inn on Chemical Road in Plymouth Meeting, with detectives subsequently determining that a phone number provided to the hotel for room renting was the same contact number in online ads offering sexual services, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office previously stated.
A detective called the number and was told the prices for various sexual services, according to the DA's Office.
After a search warrant was served on the hotel rooms, a woman told investigators that she was being held captive in the space, given drugs and being forced to have sex for money with unknown men.
The victim claims that she was unable to keep any of the money, with all of the proceeds going to Scott-Milbourne.
Detectives say they found $3,000 cash on Scott-Milbourne at the time of his arrest.
"Human trafficking is abhorrent and needs to be stopped," Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said back in May 2021.
The Mercury reported that the victims were chosen because they were vulnerable women and that the defendant preyed on that fact.
The story says that other charges of involuntary servitude, indecent assault and aggravated indecent assault were dismissed in exchange for the guilty plea on the other charges.
