
The Plymouth Township Parks and Recreation Department will hold a series of autumn-themed events at Harriet Wetherill Park starting Friday, Oct. 18.
- On Friday, Harriet Wetherill Park, located at 2639 Narcissa Road, will offer hayrides, a pumpkin pick, and a campfire with a storyteller.
- Also, on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.; on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon; and Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., families will be able to attend a hayride and will be able to pick pumpkins at Maple Acres Farms. Hayrides will cost $2.
- On Friday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., families will be able to sit around a fire and listen to a storyteller present myths, legends and folktales. The program costs $10 per person or $35 for a non-resident family of four ($28 for residents).
- On Saturday, Oct. 19, families are invited to the Plymouth Township Parks and Recreation Department’s Mystery Madness events, which runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It includes a flashlight scavenger hunt (bring your own flashlight), Halloween crafts, puzzles, snacks and prizes for children. The event costs $10 per person, $35 for a non-resident family of four and $28 for residents.
