Busted Water Main Causes Disruption In Plymouth Township On Wednesday
A broken water main left some businesses without water Wednesday as crews worked to fix the problem.
PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — A handful of local businesses were left without water on Wednesday after a busted water main caused some disruption in the Plymouth Meeting area.
A 12-inch cast-iron water main busted around 11 a.m. Wednesday on Germantown Pike near Hickory Road in Plymouth Township, causing work crews to be dispatched to the area and cut water to the area just before 12:30 p.m., according to a report on 6 ABC.
The report said that water service was restored after a couple hours.
