Woman Tries To Strike Mom, Drives Car Into Old Navy Doors: Reports

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — A woman who reportedly has a history of mental illness attempted to mow her mother down with her vehicle on Monday but ended up instead driving into the front doors of the Old Navy store at the Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting, according to local media reports.

The unnamed 22-year-old Norristown woman ended up slightly striking her mother and a passerby, but mostly ended up driving her vehicle up onto the curb outside of the store and striking the front doors, according to a report on the website More Than The Curve.

The mother reportedly informed police that her daughter has a history of mental illness.
