Delco Ready to Bike to Work
The County is participating in Bike to Work week starting Monday.
The Delaware County Government will be celebrating Bike to Work Week, which starts Monday.
The county is holding a celebration of the week on Friday in Media. Those looking to participate in the ride can meet at county courthouse at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments and prizes will be available.
In a release from the county's planning department, the celebration is part of an effort to "help make others aware of alternative means of commuting ... to avoid gas and parking expenses ... to minimze pollution ... to exercise and have fun."
