Earthquake One Year Later: Where Were You?
It's been exactly one year since a powerful earthquake shook the Eastern Seaboard. Where were you when it happened?

It was a realtively powerful 5.8 magnitutde earthquake centered in Virginia. It struck at 1:50 p.m. one year ago on August 23.
Some people in Delaware County felt it. Others did not.
The shaking was enough to damage the Washington Monument, which remains closed for repairs.
