Obituary: George F. Griffith, Jr.
Services planned Thursday for veteran and local business owner.
George F. Griffith, Jr., 85, of Springfield PA, loving husband of Kathyrn (nee Morris) Griffith for 62 years, loving father of George F., III. loving brother of Carol Ann Griffith of FL died on December 14, 2012. He was a Korean veteran, retired from the Philadelphia Navy Yard after 38 years of service. Started his own business (P&G Machine Co.) and again retired after 18 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Thursday, December 20 after 9:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064 until the time of his funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
Interment in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
