Springfield PD Investigate Car Break-Ins at Country Club Pool

The Springfield Police Department is investigating a recent spate of car break-ins in the parking lot of the Springfield Country Club Pool.

Springfield residents reported that sometime between 11 a.m. and 1:49 p.m. on July 8 and the time of the report someone broke into their cars and stole the below listed items while they were parked in the lot of the Springfield Country Club Pool in the 400 block of West Sproul Road. The incidents are under investigation by Detective Robert Nutley, according to police.

#1: Passenger's side window smashed out. A handbag was stolen from the  front seat. The handbag contained a cell phone, credit cards, cash, and identification.

#2: Passenger's side window smashed out. A handbag was stolen from the front seat. The handbag contained credit cards, a woman's wallet, and sunglasses.

#3: Passenger's side window smashed out. An expensive handbag was stolen from the front seat. The handbag contained credit cards, two Coach wallets, and identification.

#4: Driver's side window smashed out. A pocketbook was stolen from the  rear seat. The pocketbook contained numerous credit cards, a large amount of cash, and identification.
