9/11: First Responders on the Front Lines

Local first responders, like the people they serve, were affected by the events of September 11, 2001.

Eamon Brazunas, a volunteer Captain with the, is like many of his fellow firefighters in Berwyn, Paoli and Radnor as well as around the nation.

He was a freshman in college at Kent State University in Ohio. He was already a volunteer firefighter. Capt. Brazunas comes from a family of firefighters. He felt the same frustration that many first responders outside of the New York metro area have expressed about watching the events unfold on television.
