A Familiar Voice on Philadelphia Radio Dies Suddenly
This KYW Newsradio Reporter made her mark covering community stories from around the Philadelphia region.
Karin Philips, KYW Newsradio's long time Community Affairs Reporter passed away suddenly at age 53, according to a report on CBSPhilly.com.
According to the report, Phillips died Tuesday after a brief illness. Phillips' official biography on the KYW Newsradio website says she had been with the station since 1979 and "wore many hats" in her 32 years at KYW Newsradio 1060 AM.
