Congressman Meehan Remembers 9/11
Meehan makes a statement on the floor of the U.S. House.
U.S. Representative Patrick Meehan (R-PA7) honored the memory of a friend who was killed aboard one of the planes that were hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center. Meehan made his remarks Friday afternoon in the House chamber.
Meehan was nominated and confirmed as a U.S. Attorney in the aftermath of the attacks. He says the job may have given him a perspective on the attacks others did not have.
