Devereux Employee Charged With Sex Assault of Teen Client

A man whose job was to care for mentally challenged children and teens at a Devereux facility in Willistown is now charged with sexually assaulting a girl under his supervision.

Willistown Police charged a 25-year-old Upper Darby man with institutional sexual assault and other offenses related to an alleged improper relationship with a 16-year-old girl.

According to court records, Fofee Sayon was employed as a residential counselor at Devereux Beneto Center on Sugartown Road when he began a sexual relationship with the teen.
