Earned Income Tax Study Group Moves Closer to Its Report

The T/E  School District Tax Study Group was scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday to hear testimony and take questions from the public about a proposal for an earned income tax (EIT).

According to the agenda published on the district website, the group was to formulating its report for the T/E School Board at tonight's meeting.

It was also a chance for the public to be heard before the report is finalized.
