How to Get Help for T/E School Bus Problems
District officials say the first day of school went smoothly overall, even with road closures brought about by Hurricane Irene.

Tredyffrin/Easttown School District officials say Wednesday's first day of school was one of the smoothest in memory in terms of school bus transportation.
One staffer who helps handle calls says that even with scattered road closures, Wednesday was one of the smoothest first school days in her twenty years with the district. One administrator told Patch that a small number of problems were reported during the morning and were resolved.
One Patch reader complained that her chlid was 25 minutes to school because of a bus problem, but she refused to offer details on which school route or bus stop was involved. Patch was unable to confirm any bus problems that went unresolved, except for one. A district staffer told Patch that one caller's complaint could not be resolved because the caller refused to provide details on her child's school or a call back number.
