This bridge appears to have a surface to walk or bike on as well as the railings, which the bridge installed over Valley Forge Road in June still lacks. Crews were scheduled to add those important items to the Valley Forge Road bridge last Thursday, but the work was postponed due to issues manufacturing issues, according to David Stauffer with the Chester County Facilities & Parks Department.
Although the bridge and some of the trail may look ready to use, they are not. The entire trail is still considered a construction zone, according to Stauffer.
