New Cheesesteak Spot Opens On Main Line
Steak Bros is now slinging cheesesteaks alongside Quincy's Original Lobster Rolls at the East Lancaster Avenue location in Paoli.

PAOLI, PA — Hungry Main Line residents have a new spot to satisfy two cravings: cheesesteaks and lobster rolls.
Steak Bros opened its doors Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 111 E. Lancaster Ave. in Paoli
The new spot offers not only cheesesteaks, but also lobster rolls due to sharing a space with Quincy's Original Lobster Roll, which got its start in Stone Harbor, New Jersey back in 2015.

"At Steak Bros, we believe in keeping things simple and letting the quality of our ingredients speak for themselves," Nick Berardi, co-owner of Steak Bros and Berardi Bros Pizzeria in Southampton, said. "We’re thrilled to bring our signature cheesesteaks to Paoli, along with Quincy’s unbeatable lobster rolls."
The menu is spartan, but that means kitchen staff is laser-focused on the few items they do well.

Berardi, a former nurse, said adding menu items could negatively impact the quality of their steaks, which he said is paramount to the success of his businesses.
"We tell our staff not to serve anything they wouldn't eat themselves," he said. Berardi heaped praise on all the businesses' employees for their dedication to quality food.
Steak Bros offers plain steaks or cheesesteaks with choices of American cheese, cheese wiz, provolone, or Cooper Sharp. And of course, customers can add fried onions if they so choose.
Chicken cheesesteaks and buffalo chicken cheesesteaks are also available with the same options.
All sandwiches are served on Sarcone's seeded rolls.
"We've tried all the rolls," Berardi said. He and his co-owner brother Mike were born and raised in Philly and came to the conclusion over their years of Philly living and eating that Sarcone's was the perfect roll for their steaks. They are baked fresh and delivered daily to Steak Bros, he said.
Fries are also on the menu, and can be accompanied by sides of American or Cooper cheese.

"Our joint location in Stone Harbor was a hit, so we’re excited to team up again to bring the Quincy’s & Steak Bros combo to Paoli," Berardi said. "Whether you’re craving a classic cheesesteak or a fresh lobster roll, we’ve got you covered."
Berardi and his brother got their start selling pizzas in Sea Isle City, New Jersey during the summer when Mike was off from school. They'd cut up slices and wander around the beach with samples to entice hungry sun and ocean bathers.
Eventually, they opened up another pizza spot in Stone Harbor, and their neighbors happened to be Quincy's.
The Berardis would pop in to Quincy's for rolls, and the Quincy's people would hit the brothers up for pizzas and steaks. They eventually teamed up to serve both sandwiches out of the same spot in Stone Harbor.
When thinking of expanding, Berardi said many of their customers at the shore live in the Main Line area, and the brothers once again teamed up with Quincy's to open their new Paoli outpost.
Berardi said the expansion is credited to their staff and loyal customers.
"We appreciate how far we've come" he said. "We don't think about the trajectory so much, we're just doing our best to put out good food and make our customers happy."
