Paoli Hospital Launches "Yellow Dot" Alert Program

New stickers could help first responders save lives in case of car wrecks.

has launched a new program to help first responders get vital information about car accident victims at the scene of a wreck.

The Yellow Dot program at Paoli Hospital is the first of its kind in the region. It alerts accident scene first responders to find medical records about a driver in a car's glove compartment. A yellow sticker on the driver side of a car's rear window lets emergency crews know to look for a corresponding yellow folder with recent photos and medical history of the car's driver and frequent passengers. The folders do not contain financial/insurance information.

You can request a free Yellow Dot Program packet, by calling the Paoli Hospital Regional Trauma Center’s Injury Prevention and Outreach Department at 484-565-8328.
