Parking Fines Doubled in Devon and all of Easttown
Easttown supervisors vote to make illegal parking twice as expensive to ignore signs around the Devon Horse Show.
Parking at the can be tough to find. Once the lots fill up, many drivers figure it's worth risking a $25 fine not to have to walk too far. Â
The has voted to double the fine to $50 for parking in no parking areas marked by either permanent or temporary no parking signs.
The main purpose is to make risking a ticket an expensive gamble and get drivers to stop clogging streets around big events. In Easttown that mostly means the Devon Horse Show. It can also mean anywhere else in Easttown where there are no parking zones, including Berwyn.
