Police Blotter: String of Auto Thefts in Tredyffrin
Thieves hit three cars in Tredyffrin in less than a week.

Tredyffrin Police report three cars were broken into last week.
On Monday, September 25 police say a victim reported an auto break-in in Valley Forge National Park shortly before 3 p.m.. According to police, when the victim returned to the car after a short walk to discover it had been broken into. Credit cards and currency were missing.
On Friday, September 30 at about 4:30 p.m. a shopper in the 100 block of Swedesford Road told police she returned to her car after shopping briefly to discover that her purse was missing from the vehicle. The victim told police that the car alarm had gone off but there was no sign of a forced entry.

Two days later on Sunday, October 2 a victim reported spotting a thieve running from a car in the 400 block on Donalyn Lane just after 8 p.m.. Police say the car driver door was open, and money and the victim's  cell phone was reported taken from the car. Police searched the area and found the cell phone.  The theft i under investigation as police track down calls made from the victim's cell phone.

On Monday, September 26 police were called to the scene of four air conditioning units reported stolen in the 800 block of Lancaster Ave. in Devon.
On Friday, September 30 two juveniles were cited for retail theft after "they were observed concealing items in their personal bags. The total value was less than $50.00."
Criminal Mischief
On Tuesday, September 27 at 10:35 a.m. Tredyffrin Township Public Works reported damaged property at Wilson Farm Park. According to police "unknown actor(s) attempted to pry open locked doors. Nothing was stolen."
Marijuana and paraphernalia posession
At 2 a.m. on Sunday, October 2 Tredyffrin police arrested a 27 year old Berwyn man on Old Lancaster Road. He was charged with possession of a small amount of suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia.
