Sign Up For The Berwyn Veterans Victory Run 5K On July 4

The 5K run and walk will be held at 8:30 a.m. and starts in Johnson Park on July 4. A picnic, bike parade, and more will follow the race.

BERWYN, PA — Easttown is gearing up for its annual Independence Day celebration.

On July 4, the Berwyn Veterans Victory Run 5K will take place with a free family picnic, bike parade, and more to follow.

The 5K will start at 8:30 a.m. at Johnson Park in Berwyn. A kids fun run will take place at 9:15 a.m., as well.

Registration for the 5K is $25, while the kids fun run is free. Sign up for the 5K online here.

Number pick-up will be held at Johnson Park on Bridge Avenue.

The top overall male and female finishers will get $250 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. Prizes for other categories — such as family, age group, neighborhood, and more — will also be awarded.

Age groups are broke up between male and females and are 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and older.

Participants will be treated to free food and refreshments, as well.

Same day registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. in Johnson Park.

The picnic, bike parade, and other activities will follow the 5K in Johnson Park.
