With Clock Ticking Down on Summer Vacation One Big T/E Change Ahead
Classes in T/E School District resume on August 31 with a big change for elementary schoolers.

Don't look now but school resumes in three weeks in the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District. That means there are just 21 days for students to get summer reading finished, or perhaps started.
Something else to keep in mind for the new 2011-2012 school year is that T/E elementary schools will start five minutes earlier than last year.
Starting on August 31 the elementary school day will begin at 8:45 a.m. at , , , and  elementary schools.

Five minutes a day really adds up, as any math teacher can tell you. Five minutes a day over a 180 day school year amounts to 900 minutes or 15 extra hours of shool time each year.
And as any student who is enjoying summer vacation can tell you three weeks is only 21 days or 504 hours or 30,240 minutes of "freedom" left before school starts . Patch's summer vacation countdown math class is now dismissed.
