As part of a multi-award winning County project, sponsored by the National Park Service and the American Battlefield Protection Program (ABPP), Sean Moir, a Chester County Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst, spent three years researching, mapping, and animating the conflicts of the 1777 British invasion of Philadelphia, specifically the Battle of Brandywine and the Paoli Massacre.

Combining his software and GIS skills with his personal interest in history, Moir has created groundbreaking animated battle maps detailing the troop movement that took place in Chester County during the Revolutionary War.
