A Wayne homeowner had to have crews cut down and remove a tree after it was hit by lightning in Monday's storm.
"It was hit by lightning and split its entire length. Needed to come down immediately," Dot Costello said.
If you suspect any damage to your trees in the storm, have an arborist make sure none of the damage is a safety hazard.
