Votes Count 'Substantially Complete' Tredyffrin Township Races
Chester County Voter Services said with about 1,600 votes yet to be tallied, the count is 'substantially complete.'
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — The ballot count is "substantially complete" in Tredyffrin Township races as Chester County issued its latest update.
Chesco voter turnout was 38 percent in Pennsylvania's 2021 Municipal General Election, according to Chester County Voter Services. On Thursday morning, just over 39,118 of 40,781 mail-in votes had been counted and added to the in-person vote count.
By Friday afternoon, no further update had been provided. The reporting website noted that with 1,663 votes remaining to be reported, the count was "substantially complete."

Here are the updates in Tredyffrin Township races:
Four candidates ran to fill two At Large seats on the Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors, and two more competed for one Middle District Supervisor seat.

In the last update from Chester County Voter Services, Democrats Matt Holt and Murph Wysocki led, and within 2 percentage points of each other in a close race between all four candidates for Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisor At Large.
Holt had 5,657 votes and Wysocki 5,381 on Thursday morning.
Republicans Sean Sweeney and Jim Zdancewicz trailed; Sweeney had 4,231 votes and Zdancewicz 4,025 votes in the race for Supervisor At Large.
In the Second (Middle) District, Democrat David Miller ran against Republican Nick Sarracino for a single seat. By late Thursday morning, Miller had 1,927 votes and Sarracino had 1,262 votes.
TESD School Director Races In 3 Regions
Tredyffrin/Easttown School Director races were contested in all three Regions of the T/E School District.
In Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Region 1, Yolanda Allen, a Democrat, ran against Leslie Elken, a Republican for a single Board Director seat.
In Thursday morning's report of the count, Allen had garnered 2,848 votes and Elken 2,256 votes, with all precincts reporting just before midnight Tuesday.
In Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Region 2, Democrat Robert Singh and Republican Deana Wang sought the Region 2 Director's seat.
But by late Thursday morning, Singh led with 2,494 votes to Wang's 2,000 votes.
In Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Region 3, four candidates ran to fill the two seats in Region 3. MaryAnn Piccioni and Susan Audrain were Democratic candidates. Bill Nolan and Rachel Kill were Republican candidates.
On Thursday morning, Piccioni was in front with 2,351 votes, followed by Audrain who had 2.227 votes. Kill had at that time 1,956 and Nolan followed closely with 1,930 votes.
Also on the ballot in some Township precincts were candidates for Magisterial District Judge in District 15-1-02. Mackenzie Smith challenged Thomas Tartaglio in that contest.
In a tight race, on Thursday morning Smith led by 1 percentage point, with 9,561 votes. Tartaglio had 9,439 votes. Chester County Democrats on Thursday said they anticipated this race could go into a recount, it was so close.
Other precincts choose Magisterial District Judge for District 15-4-01, where the candidates were Lauren Holt and Gene Twardowski. On Thursday, Holt has 5,273 votes and Twardowski had 3,363 votes.
