UDLC to Host Interfaith Event Addressing Hate & Bias in our Community
Join faith communities from our region for an engaging town hall featuring local legislatures and advocates.

Ambler, PA – March 11, 2025 -- Upper Dublin Lutheran Church (UDLC) located at 411 Susquehanna Road, Ambler, in partnership with Or Hadash Synagogue, will host an Interfaith Event on Addressing Hate and Bias in our Community on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. This engaging town hall will offer insight from community leaders, support from nonprofit organizations and inspirational live music. Guest speakers include ELCA Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod Bishop Bryan Penman and Pennsylvania State Representative Melissa Cerrato.
The Interfaith Event on Addressing Hate and Bias in our Community was inspired by an anti-hate rally held in Montgomery County last fall. Members of UDLC’s Advocacy Team attended the peaceful display of unity in response to an area resident displaying the Nazi flag.
“We are proud to support our congregation in living out our faith through meaningful action, “ said Advocacy Team Leader Chris Tranchida. “Through education, we encourage acceptance and justice for all people.”
