Upper Dublin Township officials said the work begins Monday night and may last all week. Find out the detours below.

UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA —The detour along Delaware and Virginia drives between Commerce Drive and Camp Hill Road is scheduled at night for most of this week, township officials said.
The detours for a paving project are slated at night on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The detour will be for Camp Hill Road to Highland Avenue to Pinetown Road (and vice versa).

The work is weather-dependent.
There is the potential that the contractor will require a fifth and final night to complete the work, township officials said.

This paving is a part of the Delaware Drive Middle Section.
The night detour allows the contractor to pave the road in two passes (half width of road, then half width of road), township officials said.
This minimizes the amount of pavement joints which is better for quality and maintenance. By doing the 10-hour shifts, the contractor maximizes the length of the road that can be paved in one night, which again reduces the amount of joints.
