Upper Dublin's Recreation Superintendent Is Honored For Her Years Of Township Service
Tammy Echevarria has been employed with Upper Dublin Township in various capacities for 25 years. She's also a near lifelong resident.
UPPER DUBLIN, PA — The township is recognizing one of its long-serving employees for years of dedication to the community, one that she has also called home for most of her life.
Upper Dublin is honoring Tamm Echevarria for her dedicated service and employment.
Echevaria, who currently serves as the township's recreation superintendent, has held various positions within the community throughout the years.

She began her local career as a part-time crossing guard in September 1989, and four years later she joined the Department of Parks and Recreation as a part-time office assistant, according to the township.
In 2009, Echevaria was appointed to recreation superintendent, where she remains to this day.

"Tammy is nearly a lifelong resident of Upper Dublin and a proud UD grad. She is known for her connections in the community and her ability to 'always get the job done,'" the township posted on its Facebook page. "She is highly regarded for her professional expertise in customer service and event management."
The township said Echevarria has served on various township committees, and she has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society.
Echevarria also received presidential citations three times — in 2004, 2011 and 2015 — and she has been the recipient of the Robert D. Griffith Distinguished Member Award.
Echevarria is married with three sons and four grandchildren.
