Campers Kick Off Final Week at Willow Grove
Willow Grove Day Camp culminates its summer programs with a series of children's performances for family, friends.
As the summer draws to a close, Willow Grove Day Camp is culminating its fun activities with a series of entertaining performances for campers’ families and friends that they are sure to remember. The performances showcase the music, dance, theater and other skills Willow Grove Day Camp attendees have learned during their time at the summer camp.
There will be a series of events taking place during the week of Aug. 13. Here is a listing of those activities:
Tuesday, Aug. 14 — Campers will present a performance of the musical “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.” The first performance will be at 10:20 a.m. for the entire camp and 6:30 p.m. for parents.

Wednesday, Aug. 15 — Campers who have been taking dance, gymnastics or karate classes will perform routines they have been working on all summer. Young people will show off creative dance moves, gymnastic feats and impressive kicks in a performance for friends and family. The performances start at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, Aug. 16 — Campers will present a performance of the musical “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” The first performance will take place at 9:30 a.m. for the entire camp and 6:30 p.m. for parents.

Willow Grove Day Camp is located at 3400 Davisville Road in Willow Grove.

At Willow Grove Day Camp, the emphasis is on enjoying the summer. The camp offers an exciting roster of traditional camp activities and the latest favorites in a modern environment with expert supervision. Its innovative programs and warm and friendly staff have attracted a loyal following from Eastern Montgomery and Bucks counties since it opened in 1955.
Campers can select from a broad range of activities and spend more time at activities they truly enjoy. Activities include swimming in four heated pools and a wading pool, team sports, crafts, boating, gymnastics, lacrosse, roller hockey, golf instruction, horseback riding, challenge ropes course, tennis, television production, ceramics and karaoke, just to name a few.
