Willow Grove Campers To Participate in Carnival Day

The 58th annual event will have unique games and booths for entertainment starting at 1 p.m. on Aug. 9.

Willow Grove Day Camp will be transformed into a carnival and its attendees are running the show during the 58th annual Carnival Day. The event — beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9 — allows campers to use their creativity to create unique games, activities and fair booths for fellow campers to play. The festivities will be held at the camp, which is located at 3400 Davisville Road in Willow Grove.

Each bunk of campers and their counselors will operate a booth, inviting their fellow campers to participate in games of chance, such as throwing a football through a tire, sinking a hole in one and dunking a counselor. Attendees will not only win prizes for the games, but for the creativity they display in creating their booths.

In addition to the campers’ booths, children will be able to participate in a moon bounce, a dunk tank, giant slides and an obstacle course that will be set up on the camp’s fields.
